07 Dec 2017 10:30

BTS Winter Meeting 2017, Thursday 7th December
10.30 - 11.30am, Gielgud, 2nd floor

Chair:

David Brindle, Guardian Public Services Editor

Panellists:

Prof Mike Morgan, Respiratory National Clinical Director, NHS England
Prof Matthew Cripps, National Director, NHS RightCare

Dr Binita Kane, Integrated Respiratory Care Lead, Manchester

Across England, the NHS, local councils and other stakeholders are coming together as 44 Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships to integrate health and social care.

Join us at the BTS Winter Meeting to debate whether these new partnerships have the power to transform services in England once and for all. What, if anything, can they learn from other UK nations and how can they make best use of existing NHS initiatives such as RightCare?

This panel event aims to engage delegates working across the respiratory community to identify the issues they face, and the solutions they have to hand, for integrating care services sustainably.
