New asthma and COPD self-management website launched in Scotland

Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland has just launched a self-management website for patients with COPD and asthma called My lungs My life. Written by respiratory specialists and clinicians from NHS Scotland it also has a section for parents of children with asthma.

The site is free to use with no log in or advertising. It includes film clips showing correct inhaler use, audio clips for relaxation and for parents to listen to common breath sounds children make as well as asthma wheeze, interactive graphics and animations to show how the lungs work and self-management tips for people living with COPD or asthma.
