Who's involved

The programme has been commissioned by the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) as part of the National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme (NCAPOP) and currently covers England, Scotland and Wales .

The audit programme is led by the Royal College of Physicians (RCP), working closely with a broad range of organisations including Asthma UK, the British Thoracic Society, British Lung Foundation, Primary Care Respiratory Society, Royal College of General Practitioners and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.

NACAP is supported by a board, advisory (asthma and COPD) groups and a patient panel.
