Introducing the knowledge portal
There is considerable demand for easily accessible information, from research papers and commissioned case studies to reports and surveys. In response, we are building this portal as a central point of access to a wide range of legacy, current and curated respiratory assets tagged by cross-cutting and disease related search tags.
Our initial focus has been on co-ordinating and labelling almost 200 respiratory-related legacy assets from the former Department of Health Respiratory Programme Board, NHSI Lung Improvement programme and IMPRESS.
If there’s enough demand and additional content, next year we hope to introduce enhanced functionality so users can create and update their own ‘favourites’ folder and recommend documents to their contacts. Active push alerts will also ensure you are kept up to date about new resources in your chosen topics.
We are keen to source new content and link to useful papers on external sites to establish the portal as the one-stop-shop for respiratory information. So please get in touch if you have articles and documents to share or would like to contribute ideas to help develop the knowledge portal creatively, and in a way that best suits our sector’s needs.
