My Pleural Effusion Journey is a patient decision aid tool for patients with a malignant pleural effusion. It is a tool developed to support healthcare professionals during clinical consultations and to help patients feel informed about their options.
The tool is free to use and was developed by a joint team of healthcare professionals and developers/designers from Wythenshawe Hospital, Guys and St Thomas’, North Bristol Hospital, NIHR CLAHRC Yorkshire and Humber, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust and One Vision Health.
