NHS Wales offer a range of programmes to DHCW staff that help our staff gain experience through formal training, frontline NHS experience, coaching and mentoring.
Mentoring and Coaching are key tools that can be used for career development opportunities. These tools can also help a person to realise what their aspirations are, increase leadership skills and access support through a personal or professional transition.
Mentoring and Coaching share a number of principles and approaches. Both tools are intended to be supportive and non-judgmental with a great degree of confidentiality and clear boundaries throughout the process.
Find out more about coaching and mentoring on the NHS Wales website.
