Women will experience multiple significant life events over the course of their careers. For example, you might be planning for or becoming a parent, experiencing loss, navigating the menopause, becoming a carer, or becoming a patient. We hope this webinar will create a space to capture and share experiences.
This webinar aims to:
- Support people who are navigating their careers alongside commitments outside of their professional work, eg caring responsibilities, illness, etc.
- Recognise that life events can result in people being time poor, and therefore may be unable to participate in some opportunities eg joining working groups, travelling to meetings/conferences, taking research or other professional development opportunities etc.
- Share learning for those taking an alternative career pathway/portfolio career.
We will explore how we can support ourselves and each other to build resilience, recognise the impact that life events can have on career development, and unite in sharing solutions.
This webinar is open to all. It is an informal space, and our panel will be on hand to share their experience and tips and facilitate the Q&A.
