Join the Lung Research and Innovation Group to play your part in bringing respiratory research and innovation together

Experts across the respiratory sector have come together to form the Lung Research and Innovation Group (LRIG). The group, convened by Asthma + Lung UK, is made up of expert organisations and individuals determined to drive progress and investment in respiratory research and innovation. This is urgently needed to prevent, diagnose, treat and manage lung conditions better, and to give people better quality, longer lives.

By speaking as one voice, LRIG will raise the profile of lung conditions and convince others of the sense of urgency for people struggling to breathe.

Be part of LRIG: Join as an Individual Researcher Adviser

Applications are now open for researchers from clinical and non-clinical backgrounds in the respiratory field to join LRIG. Researcher representatives will be able to provide intelligence from their area of research specialty to the group and use their influence and connections to promote LRIG’s aims and outputs.

To apply, and for more information, please email a short CV and a statement of 300 words explaining why you’d like to advise LRIG to Alice Billin, Research Networks and Partnerships Manager, at abillin@asthmaandlung.org.uk. Applications close at 9am by Monday 23 January.
