The British Thoracic Society has published a new Quality Standard for Pleural Disease, setting out clear benchmarks for the care of adults with pleural conditions across the UK. Developed by a multidisciplinary expert committee and built on the BTS Pleural Disease Guideline, the standard provides measurable quality metrics to help healthcare professionals, service providers and patients understand what high-quality, safe care looks like.
